Two members of feminist punk band Pussy Riot have left Russia in order to avoid arrest, the Guardian reports.
Police had announced last week
that they were searching for additional members of the group after
Nadezhda Tolokonnikova, Maria Alyokhina and Yekaterina Samutsevich were sentenced
to two years in prison on "hooliganism" charges for their anti-Putin
"Punk Prayer" protest at Moscow's Christ the Saviour Cathedral. The two
women now on the run had also participated in the performance.
